Well it has been many months since I posted anything on here. We have been staying really busy with lots of fun with Kenz plus some work and some resting and nesting before our newest addition arrived. Miss Kieley Marie was born on Aug 16th at 7:50am weighing only 7lbs 1oz and 20" long so she is just a little one! =) We got to come home on Wednesday(18th) and that has been great. McKenzie did great while we were in the hospital getting to spend time with us as much as possible but also spending lots of time with Aunt Kelly plus Grams & Gramps and Grandpa Greg & Uncle Nathan got their time in as well. Sat(21) Aaron and Kenz went to WA for Matt & Kim's wedding. They are having a great time and getting to see lots and lots of family! I am missing them like crazy and counting down the hours til they are back home with Kieley and I!! Kieley and I are getting some quality time while I am at home healing/re cooperating!! McKenzie is a great big sister and is getting better with Kieley as each day goes by.....I am looking forward to their sister relationship to grow as the years go by. Pictures to follow...

Well, we are into May and I am about to get a part of the Munchkin Market experience that I will be taking over this fall. So it will be a very busy week with that this week then next week is full of appointments, work, and then off to Oklahoma. So I will probably not post again until we get back from OK! So, I guess I should start off saying that I am obviously not very good at doing this! So it has been about a month since my last posting adn of course lots has gone on here at the Smith house. Kenzie and I are both growing like crazy while Dad is staying in shape at the gym. =) Over the last month we have done a lot of great and fun things. Easter at the beginning of the month was great, Kenzie's 2nd Easter but first she could really do anything so she actually enjoyed finding eggs and her Easter gifts. We will look forward to the mess of her actually getting to dye eggs next year! We have also gone to the zoo and to the park with the Krupp family and enjoyed many Sundays at Grams and Gramps house. Plus Grandpa Greg adn Kelly came to visit for a couple days and then we also got a quick, unexpected visit from Grandpa Greg! So it has been a busy month but I didn't have time to put all the pictures up so here are some from the beginning of the month and I will try to post more later this week!

Well, I guess March has been a busy month since I haven't done a post yet! Things are all going great here for the Smith family. McKenzie is smarter everyday and is always giving us a good laugh. She is just a joy to be around and just play with her and laugh with her. She is also still doing very good at the potty-training thing and I don't think we have changed a poopy diaper in about 6 weeks so we think that is pretty good!! She is loving getting a nice day to play outside every now and then- soaking up some sun and getting lots of energy out. We have done lots of things this month but can't really list them all out.
One very exciting thing that we did on Monday was do our ultra sound for baby#2 and found out that everything looks good and that we are having another little girl!! We are very excited- even though I think Aaron is going to be a little shocked here in a couple years. =) Having another girl makes things much easier in the clothes and room departments so a little bit less work to get ready before August. Other than that we are staying busy and enjoying our family!!

Well, what another great week or so we have had since our last update. Kenzie and I got to go play at Focus on the Family with the Krupps and they all loved it!!! Then we went to the pizza buffet with the Krupps and Aunt Teenie and Aiden met up with us where Kenz and I ate our little hearts out-Kenz keeps up with those boys-thats for sure!
Then on Friday the 26th it was big birthday day!!!! Happy Birthday to my sweet little cousin who is getting so big now....Clarissa turned 9 this year!!! We are very excited to get to be able to see her and her family for Spring break!!! Then Thomas and Lucas turned 2 on the same day!! We are so happy to be a part of their lives!! They are such sweet and crazy little boys and a huge joy to be around!! Of course Kenz enjoys hanging out with them and slowly playing with them but really loves watching them! =)
This past Sunday we got to enjoy our first Chuck E Cheese experience for the boys birthday party! Kenz got to sit at the kids table with all the kids, which was so cute. Then she enjoyed playing and playing and eating cake! =) She was not afraid of any ride...she doesn't get that from me. =) She was being moved all around in some of the rides but she kept wanting to go more and more! A crazy little girl version of her daddy! =)

What a great week!!! Happy Happy 23rd Birthday to my little sisters! They are both so amazing and deserve the best birthday ever!! Teenie is back to work in the office and staying busy with little Aiden. Kelly is staying busy with school and work but we wish we got to see her more! They are both doing amazing and are absolutely the best sisters I could ask for!! I love them and so does little Kenzie and of course Aaron. =) Then we also got to have Aunt Sandra and her friend Don come out to Justine's birthday dinner with us! Then finally today (Friday) we got to go get our ultra sound and find out that I am 14 weeks along (tomorrow) so technically 13wks 6days-if we are being exact. This puts my due date at August 21, 2010! So we shall see as we get closer we will decide on a c-section which they would do at 39 weeks or wait and wait until he or she wants to come on his/her own time. We won't decide until around week 28! Everything is looking great. The ultra sound pictures (in real life) were amazing...you could see him/her moving all around including moving his/her feet and hands...it was so awesome. Kenz was five weeks earlier in her first ultra sound so she was just a little peanut but not this one... =) SO we will keep you updated after our next appointment which is on March 22nd and we will schedule our next ultra sound then. Now that I have already made it through the first trimester I am hoping things go more smoothly and quickly. =) Aaron is preparing himself for a summer with pregnant Cortney......he is going to have lots of fun! =)
Miss Kenzie is of course doing amazing. She is working on some more teeth and hair as I know some people are worried about. She is saying more and more every day today she said yellow and black -not to the right crayons of course but hey she is only 12mo. She is into saying 'potty potty' when I ask her if she needs to go and she is still doing really good with it. She started wearing pull ups and loves the princess on them and I even let her chose sometimes-diaper with Pooh or 'big girl diaper' with princesses. She is just so amazing to be around! She is such a happy little girl and mommy's little helper. I feel so blessed already I don't know how much more blessed I can be with one more! =) Well enjoy the pics (not in order of course)!

Happy Happy Birthday to our little McKenzie!!! Wow! What a great weekend we had with our little girl! On her birthday She got to help Grams make her cake, get a cupcake for lunch with Aunt Teenie, Gramps, Grams, and Aiden-where she just wanted to touch the flame. Then Friday night she went with Aaron and I to her first hockey game and she loved it- she of course watched everyone and danced with the music and clapped with everyone and she even got Happy Birthday sang to her from people from Aaron's work. On Friday Grandpa Greg and Kelly came in to visit and then so did Uncle Matt and Aunt Kim! So Saturday Kenz got to go with us to the Donut Mill for the first time and then we got ready for her party and headed to her party! She looked so cute in her party dress and she was very excited about it and liked dancing in it! =) Then once at the party it took her a few minutes to get adjusted to all the people and then she loved the attention and most of all loved the pizza and cake! She loved playing and hanging out with all the kids. Kelly's grandkids joined us and so did the Krupp boys and lots of other adults, so Kenz had lots of fun! Kevin was a little helper for Kenz with all of her presents-and Kenz let him take everything away except her snacks she got! =) She got lots of great things....thanks to everyone for coming and all the great gifts! ! So then on Sunday Kenz and I went to a Mickey/Disney Show with the Krupps/Slades and she liked the first part and enjoyed dancing to the music and then her no napping started to kick in and she was out for the majority of the show! =) Thanks to Traci for the great tickets! So we had a great weekend! All Kenzie's Aunts and Uncles that weren't able to make it did call her and it was cute because she got to say "Hi" to all of them. =) So the pictures are not in order but here are a few from Kenzie's weekend of fun! Well last week we started working with Kenz and her big girl potty and it is off to a great start! For two mornings in a row we have had success and keep it up through the day-she can't tell me yet so we just make lots of trips to the potty through the day and hope for the best! Although, I am thinking now that i wrote this maybe everyone didn't want to know this but I am so happy and excited and her great attitude towards it makes me that much more motivated. I need her trained before the next one! I prefer to only but diapers for one at a time. =) And on that note she only had one diaper all day Thursday(1/28) because she did so good!Kenz also got to spend one of her days with Grams with Aiden as well. I am excited she will be getting used to being around him even if it is just one day a week. She loves him very much and always wants to give him a blanket, rock him, or pull his socks off and find his eyes. =) So she is learning.

Well, what else this week....I am still continuing to be sick on and off through the day and not really able to each any meat but I also got a tooth pulled this week so that isn't helping anything with my eating! Aaron is enjoying work, getting to do in the office work 3-days a week and out in the field 3-days a week so it is a good compromise for him. Our disappointing news this week is that my ultra sound appointment got pushed back until Feb 19th! So I am on a waiting list so if there are any cancellations before I will be in but I don't see that happening.

=( Now I guess the countdown begins to our little baby turns 1...coming so quickly! Our little baby is turning into a big girl right before our eyes!

Kenz and I went to McDonalds last Thursday with Brandi and the boys and she did pretty good once she soaked it in she actually kept wanting to climb up the slide but would walk around by herself. Of course she did great at eating and after I helped her pick the breading off she even ate 3 chicken fingers and some french fries!! My little eater but you woudln't know it judging by the way her pants slide off. =)

Then Wednesday she did great with baby aiden again and he was even smiling at her this morning and she gave him a hug! What a nice big cousin! Then we got to go to 'Jumpers' a gymnastics place here in Woodladn Park that MOPS went to and Brandi brought the boys. She had lots of fun watching but did hang from the bar and run around adn bit and even could hold her own for a little bit on the trampoline. Then of course Brandi's boys are so cute and happy to see Kenzie- I don't think they even realize I am there (well maybe Lucas) =). So they were there to see her for a few seconds while they were running their energy out for their mom! What a great day for Kenz! Of course I didn't get any pictures on Kenzies' outings but thankfully Brandi is on top of that so I still got some. =)

HAPPY NEW YEAR...2010

Well, it has been quite a while since our last post so I will try to quickly re-cap everything that has been going on since Christmas. As usual we like to keep on our toes, no slowing down! =) McKenzie and I went to Oklahoma and Texas with Gramps and Grams for New Years. It was a great trip, car ride not the most fun but we all made it safe and sound! In Oklahoma we stopped and got to see Uncle Travis, Aunt Alisha, and Aunt Kelly for a little bit and then headed to Texas where we got to see Great Papa and Great Grandma along with Lots and lots of other Bullard family: Aunt Janice (who is doing so so great!), Uncle Brian D, Clarissa, Uncle Steve and Aunt Lisa, Ethan, Aunt Sandra, Uncle Brian S, and Aunt Kelly and Aunt Alisha even came and joined us for a couple days. It was really great to see everyone and for everyone to get to see our growing little girl! Kenz enjoyed everyone and especially enjoyed playing with Ethan and Clarissa. We had a great time hanging out with everyone and look forward to seeing everyone again soon. Aunt Janice also got Clarissa and Kenz matching dresses so we of course got their pictures here below. Then since we have been back we have had a visit from Uncle Nathan and Alexa and well as Grandpa Greg! We enjoyed their visits and look forward to seeing them again soon as well. Then last but absolutely not even close to least we are proud and excited to announce that we will be having another little Smith!!!! We don't know when quite yet but probably September time frame! We go to the Dr on Feb 15th for an ultra sound to check on everything and she will then give us a due date as well. Well, what a crazy crazy Christmas time! We had a wonderful fun, family, sickness filled Christmas time! We had a great time with Chrtistmas parties, gift openings, lighted zoo tour, and good family time! McKenzie seemed to enjoy her first Christmas. She had been not feeling well so she wasnt too lively but she still seemed to enjoy herself. Of course not much time to write again. McKenzie and I are currently on our way to Oklahoma and Texas to visit more Bullard family with Grams and Gramps. We will miss Daddy but we are very happy to see the family. Almost Christmas!!

Well, what fun we have been having since our last post! As you know little Aiden was born so now he has got to meet our clan. McKenzie is getting to know 'baby Aiden' and doing pretty good with him so far and practicing with her babies and princesses in his car seat and baby chair at Grams and Gramps house. Uncle Travis, Aunt Alisha, and Aunt Kelly all came in last week!!!! That has been so so great!! Uncle Travis and Aunt Alisha had to leave Monday night but Aunt Kelly gets to stay through Christmas!! We are loving spending time with the family and Kenz is really warming up to everyone and yes she even walked to Uncle Travis and got a long pretty well with him! kenz has learned how to yell at the dogs, mainly Rowdy (Kelly's baby) and it is pretty funny. Over this past week we went to Brittani Slade's graduation party-Congrats Brit!!! Aaron, Kenz, and I went to the zoo with Bran, Paul, Kevin, Lucas, Thomas, Traci, and Ryan! It was cold but fun- Kenz watched some animals but it was great to see the boys enjoy it! We did a lot of hanging out and then Kenz and I both got sick so that was no fun but it has past. We did a little Christmas celebrating with Travis and Alisha Sunday night. Monday we preped for and had the ranch/Bullard Christmas party with lots and lots of good food and games. Aaron and I were the big winners!!!! Now we are already for Christmas! McKenzie and the Krupp boys got to open some gifts today at Grams and Gramps house and Kenz did a pretty good job opening and only got upset once on the sharing. =) Always fun to see the Krupp boys and soon I am sure Kenz will be more into playing with them rather than staring at them! =)

Yeah!!!! Justine had her beautiful little boy today at 12:57pm 12/14/09!! His name is Aiden Douglas and he weighed 7lbs 12oz and is 21"s long! He has hair, always a plus. =) It is kind of brown/kind of blonde =) Justine did an awesome job delivering him and was much faster than we were expecting. McKenzie is not allowed at the hospital because of her age with the sickness things around so she got to stay with Brandi and her boys and some visitors/helpers. =) I have been told she did great and I know she enjoyed them all and I certainly appreciate it!! I am so glad I got to be there for the birth of my nephew!! Now once her cousin is home Kenz can meet him and once Aaron gets feeling better he can meet his nephew! Aunt Cortney sounds funny but great!!!! So here is a quick pic of the little man-don't worry there will be many more to come just running on a tight schedule tonight. Okay, well sorry it took so long but here are some more pictures from Hawaii. I am not sure if I mentioned it before but I really have close to 1,000 pictures between me, Greg, and Kim so I of course could not put them all up but if you want to come see them you are welcome to. =) They are not in any order so please enjoy! Then there is McKenzie's 10 month picture with her puppy along with McKenzie's picture with Santa! Kenz is starting to really get the walking thing down and doing more and more steps on her own. She walked across the room twice on Dec 2nd and then she has been doing that and more ever since then. She of course is not walking ALL of the time but she likes to sneak it in there when she can get away with it. She is so so much fun and such a wonderful daughter we are really blessed! I am not sure how excited I am about how fast she seems to be growing up already but she seems to be smarter and more fun to play with each day. She is extending her vocabulary, when she wants to and says Mama, Dada, Daddy, Dad, Papa, up, and duck! She likes ducks and can point them out and we are working on identifying eyes, nose, mouth and she does get one right every now and then. We of course also work on Santa with pictures, books, boxes, etc and him saying "HO HO HO" and she can pick him out and makes her own little Ho HO HO for him and it is very cute! Well, anyways enjoy the pictures and the next update will probably include Justine's new baby!!! Hopefully he will be here by Monday we are all getting excited!!

Well, what an adventure we had for our vacation! It was a little crazy at first with all of our airplane issues and lost baggage for a few days but we made it work and survived. =) We had a great time with Aaron's family! We stayed at Aaron's dad's house in Maui, HI for the week where we got to visit with Grandpa Greg, Uncle Matt, Aunt Kim, and Uncle Nathan plus meet Alexa (Uncle Nate's girlfriend). We got to do and see a lot of different things and actually did go around the whole island! To name a few things that we got to do: go to the beach (Kenz's first time), swimming, drives, walked through one of the towns, checked out cool trees and flowers, saw a black sand beach, saw a lot of waterfalls, hiked to an awesome 400' waterfall, relaxed in the sun, enjoyed the hot tub, had some great meals, and Aaron enjoyed snorkeling and diving with the fam. It was a great fun-filled week. McKenzie still only stretched herself to four steps but really enjoyed ALL the attention she got from the family. She enjoyed waiving and say Hi the whole week and blowing kisses for everyone. She was of course our main source of entertainment it seemed like- she is a little cheeseball for the camera from time to time which was hilarious. Aunt Kim took tons and tons of pictures but my computer isn't quite working right so I only have a few to put up right now but I will put more up when it is working good. Any questions, just ask too much to write everything in here! But, we had a great trip and we were so thankful to get to go there and enjoy our time off and family!

Today (Dec 1) is Uncle Travis' birthday!! Yeah happy happy birthday to my favorite little brother! Aunt Teenie is still holding my little nephew in there but hopefully any day now she will be having him. If she hasn't had him by Dec 13th she will get induced that evening so soon we will be Aunt/Uncle/cousin!!!

Well, we had a fun-filled, event-filled last week! Aaron and I got to enjoy a couple date nights: for our birthdays and anniversary! We got to see 'So You Think You Can Dance' and it was great! That same night we saw the show Uncle Matthew and soon to be Aunt Kim (Aug. 22nd) got into town as well. Then the next day Kenz and I spent the day with Uncle Matt and Kim and then later Grandma Michele and Aaron's cousin Jagur (4) arrived. Then that night Grams and I went to Justine's work baby shower and that was a fun and eventful night. Justine got a lot of great things and played great games and then we finished the night by taking cover from a drive by shooting. Luckily everyone was fine-just a little shaken up. Then we spent the rest of the weekend hanging out with all the Smith family visitors. Uncle Matt and Kim had to leave us Tuesday morning so Grandma Michele, Jagur, Kenzie, and I went to the zoo. Then the rest of the week we spent time with the family. Then we had to take Grandma Michele and Jagur to the airport on Saturday afternoon. Now we are looking forward to our Hawaii trip...we leave next Saturday. I will try to do another post by then because we should have some new pictures this week (Family and my new hair cut!)

Happy B-day Anniversary And Halloween!

Wow! What a great couple of weekends and a crazy week. Last weekend we celebrated Aaron's b-day by carving/decoration pumpkins, Dad & Kenz nap time, football, and Aaron's dinner of choice with Grams & Gramps. Then we followed that up with a crazy week but we did manage to Kenz some real snow pants so she got to enjoy our first big snow fall this season. She actually loved the snow eventhough she couldn't move well in her coat she of course loved trying to eat the snow (Surprise!). Then we finished off the week with a Friday trip the Kenzie's Dr where they diagnosed her with eczema-since i made the trip for her rash I had them combine it with her 9mo appointment and it all went well. She is doing great and ahead of schedule on some things and right on target with others. She has some cream for her eczema and it is already looking a lot better so we are good now and will keep our eye out int eh future. =) Then Saturday we had Kenzie's first Halloween and my b-day! Miss McKenzie dressed as a pink leopard and we did treat street with the friends, then off to grams and gramps house to trick or treat with the Krupp family then trick or treating at the Zeornes' house. Then we finished the night with dinner out with our smith family, Gramps, Grams, Aunt Teenie, and Great Papa. Thanks to everyone for all my b-day wishes it was a great b-day!
Our little mover is of course growing and moving more each day! She is getting closer and closer to walking. She stands for longer and longer on her won each time and took one little step a couple weeks ago. SO we shall see how much longer she gives me before she actually starts walking! Kenz is now about 19lbs 7oz and about 28"s long so not so little any more =(. Here are a lot of pics I didn't have time to put them in order-sorry about that! Aunt Teenie's Baby Shower-Aunt Kelly's Visit

Wow! What a great past weekend that went by so so fast and now we are almost into this weekend! =) Well, there were about 200 pics from this weekend so I tried to sort through and pic some good ones-thanks for the pic help Bran. =) Aunt Kelly came into town later Thursday night so we enjoyed her company Friday-Monday! It was of course great to see her but our time went by so quick! Unfortunately none of our other OK family got to make the trip but we hope to see them all soon. Saturday was Justine's big shower day. I think everyone one had a great time and we had a pretty good size turn out. We pretty much spent the rest of the weekend figuring out what else Justine needed and spending family time. Then Tuesday Kenz and I spent the afternoon and evening with Great Gma Bullard and Great Aunt Sandra after MOPS. So it has been a good, busy, fun-filled week or so! =) Here are some pics:

What a great visit we have had with Kenzie's Grandpa Greg for the weekend and a little longer with Kenzie's Great Grandma Patty. McKenzie has become good buddies with Great Grandma Patty and has become her nap time buddy as well. =) Grandma Patty must have the great grandma touch because Kenz has gone to sleep for her two naps a day!!! Yeah! SO since kenz has been napping she has been fun for everyone to be around. We have spent the time just handing out around the house and then today meeting Aaron for lunch. Tomorrow we are taking Grandma Patty to the airport to head home, we will all be sad to see her go home. Hopefully we will get to visit her after Christmas and we will see Grandpa Greg in a couple weeks. Now we are getting very very excited for our big weekend!! October is Here!

Wow! Okay, I can't believe October is going by so quick already!! It has been awhile since my last post so we have certainly been staying busy! Last weekend we enjoyed some scrapbook/moving time with Aunt Teenie while Daddy worked then enjoyed dinner at our house with our family and Grams and Gramps! Then for a week of playing and chasing Kenz plus MOPS, work, and then Friday night Grandpa Greg and Great Grandma Patty got here! (I will put those pics up later) So we have been enjoying this weekend with them. Our little Kenz is 8 months old now!! She still just has the one tooth but is working really hard at the others ones so we will see-of course the teeth issue doesn't slower her down on her eating! =) She is stading for longer and longer by herself-scary! She is of course a absolute joy to be around and brings a smile to everyone's face!

Well, McKenzie and I spent most of Friday shopping away with Grams finding all kinds of good deals! Then Saturday Kenz and I went to the zoo with Aunt Teenie and got to meet Dad for lunch. Then Sunday we went on a great drive to see the colors up to Cripple Creek and made a pit stop to play at the park for a while and of course a stop to take some pics. Then today McKenzie and I got to head over to the Krupp house to see Brandi and the boys, we even got to see a little of Brit. The boys are just growing like crazy and are so good with Kenz. As soon as we come in the door all the boys want to say Hi and show her their toys and of course Kenz loves getting into their toys and loves watching everything they do. Then to top today off McKenzie really made my day when I got scraped with her first tooth popping through!! Then to make the day EVEN better she said 'Mama' like five times tonight!!! Yeah!! Our little girl is getting so big! She also likes to give kisses every now and then (depends on her mood) but so far mom, dad, grams, and her baby have gotten big sloppy kisses from Kenz! Well, I think the snow has finally stopped....thank goodness-snow and Cortney don't mix but Aaron keeps telling me that is what I get for living in Colorado! Well, I hate to admit he is right! =) Well over the last week or so we have just been enjoying our time together and trying to stay warm! McKenzie weighed in at 19lbs this week, I am not sure how tall she is these days I need to measure her. She is all over the place! I tried to put a video on here of her scooting an ice chest around the kitchen at Grams and Gramps house but it was my first attempt so we will see if it works and I didn't think about it til after she had been doing it for a while so it isn't that great-I will try again. McKenzie did good at MOPS again this week but the teachers couldn't believe how much she moves, climbs, and is into everything non-stop! She even tore part of another kids name tag off-tried to eat it and started choaking on it! So my little climbing, trying to walk 71/2mo old is a little handful and I am loving every minute of it!! She is enjoying saying Dada, waving, and even kisses her baby dolls. She does actually call Aaron dada now so Aaron is loving that. She also really likes saying Dada a lot when you tell her to say mama. Well, that figures right-we knew she was going to be a daddy's girl so she might as well start now. =) She really is such a joy to be around and we can not believe how fast the time is flying by with her!

Well, a great big happy birthday goes out today to my wonderful godson Kevin who turned 4 today!! I can't believe he is that big already-it seems like yesterday I was holding him in the hospital! Now he is such a fun kid to be around, he is full of energy, has a great imagination, and is such a smart little guy. He is growing up so fast before our eyes and we feel blessed to get to be a part of his life!

Since the last blog we went garage sale shopping with grams,attended Kevin's birthday party last Sunday and spent a little time with Aunt Sandra, Uncle Brian, and Papa plus Grams & Gramps. Then today McKenzie and I went to the zoo with Amber and Aiden. So so far it has been a great week! McKenzie is of course continuing to grow and grow and she gets braver everyday. She is walking along the railings, tables, her toys, chairs, and anything she can pull herself up on. She likes only holding on with one hand and trying to stretch to the next toy or place. She has let go a few times and crashed and let go a few seconds and then grabbed back on without falling so Brandi's dreams are coming true it looks like with her walking time line. =)

Trip to Oklahoma!!!

What a great Labor Day Weekend!! This September has started off pretty good. Our precious baby is already 7 months old, which does not even sound possible! McKenzie is scooting all over the place, doing laps around the house, while stopping every now and then to climb on things and pull herself up to whatever she wants. She now pulls herself up and kind of walks around holding on- then every now and then you will see her let go and she does good letting go with one hand but when both come off her balance doesn't last for long. =)

So before leaving for OK McKenzie and I went to our first MOPS meeting which as great. I met a lot of new people and think that I will really enjoy it. Kenzie is the one I was worried about but she did awesome! She went to the nursery and didn't cry at all just had a great time playing with the other kids-I did break the rules and peek at her a couple times but Kenz didn't see me so we were good. =)

Then we took our first family plane trip to go visit Aunt Kelly, Uncle Travis, & Aunt Alisha-plus all of Kenz's dog cousins (Zorra, Rowdy, & Daizy). Kenz flew great on the way there she ate and then was awake talking and smiling away-thinking everyone was on the plane to see her! I of course got sick right before our trip so the plane ride was a little painful for me but luckily Aaron had Kenz so I could be in pain by myself and not have to worry about her because she did so great. Then we just enjoyed hanging out and doing a few different things with the family. McKenzie certainly loved all of the attention-so much so she didn't ever want to sleep! =) But, in teh middle of her not sleeping she pulled out 'Dada' and said it multiple times over the couple days we were gone so we will see if she continues and if she will start calling Aaron that yet. She took some warm up time to get used to Uncle Travis and his voice but they were buds before we left. We certainly were not ready to come home yet but we did. Of course we hope to see them again soon- but it is never soon enough! We were thankful for Trav getting us a little house to stay in so that we had our own little space to try to keep Kenz somewhat on schedule. Anyway, we had a great trip and we already miss our OK family! McKenzie is very blessed to have such wonderful Uncles and Aunts from both sides of our families. We love them all very much!

More Summer Fun

Well, since the last time I updated we have been keeping busy over the last week and couple weekends. Last weekend the Smith family went to the zoo, Aaron's first time with Kenz. Then Monday Kenz and I went to the zoo with Grams, Brandi, Kevin, Lucas, and Thomas. Through the week we enjoyed our playtime and any activities we could fit in around work. Then this weekend Dad kept Kenz so I could go out to Cripple Creek for a little while so they enjoyed their daddy daughter time and I enjoyed time with family and friends. Then today the three of us went to the Zeornes' house and Aaron helped the guys with trees and Kenz and I hung out with Linda, Kelly, Brandi, and all 4 boys. Then once the boys left Kenz thought she was free and had the house and all the toys to herself and was loving it. So now we are so excited for our big trip this week, I can't stop thinking about it. Of course we are almost packed and so ready to see Uncle Travis, Aunt Kelly, and Aunt Alisha as well as let Kenz enjoy her first plane ride. We are hoping I have planned it well so she will sleep right through the trip so we shall see!

Okay, so I am finally getting a blog posting up after about a month!! Between all of our visitors and my computer problems this has just not gotten done. SO I have lots of pics on this one to try to get at least a little bit of everything on. So since my last post we had the Smith gang come to visit us and we enjoyed hanging out, hiking, fishing, a bbq, a nice dinner and more!! We were very happy to see Grandpa Greg, Uncle Nathan, Uncle Matthew, Kim, and Kim and Matt's new puppy Huma (sp?). Our little Nathan turn the bi 2-0 on the 10th of this month!! Then the day that the Smith's left Papa came into town to visit for a little bit then Aunt Kelly and Aunt Alisha made it in. We were sad Uncle Travis couldn't make the trip but we were happy to spend the weekend with the girls. Over the weekend my parents celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary! While they were here we enjoyed some shopping, hanging out with Bran and the boys, horse riding, and more! McKenzie got a real kick out of Kelly and her lovely dance skills. Then Great Grandma, Great Aunt Janice, Great Aunt Sandra, and Clarissa came into town. We enjoyed hanging out with them, swimming, visiting Bran and the boys, touching trucks, walking, and more! McKenzie was so interested in Clarissa and paid close attention to everything she did- McKenzie gave lots of laughs to Clarissa. While they were here Grandma and Papa celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary! Then while the Bullard group was here Aunt Vi, Aunt Ruth, Melissa, Randy, and Katie came for a quick day visit. I am sure that we have forgotten quite a few things, sorry. We look forward to seeing everyone again SOON!!

Family Summer Fun

Wow, what a week/weekend!! Brandi and I attempted 3B pics with all 4 kids but it didn't go quite as smoothly as planned so we will be attempting again. But we can't get enough of those boys! McKenzie, Grams, and I took a trip up to Greeley so see some family and we had a great time at Aunt Vi's visiting with everyone. The people were great but the drive was a little warm to say the least since the ac went out on the way up there so in 100* weather it gets a little warm. Somehow we survived with lots of fun memories. Uncle Nathan got into town on Friday and we were all happy to see him. So Saturday we started out our great weekend adventure: We attempted Kenzie's first camping trip but had to head home around 11pm because of too much rain in the tent!! We toughed it out for the whole day but sleeping in cold water wasn't going to happen for any of us. =) Again, it may have been crazy but just more great memories. We have just been enjoying spending time together in the rain and since we had a nice Monday spent with Uncle Nate, McKenzie, and I taking a trip to the zoo. Plus we got to visit with Aunt Teenie and Gramps while we were running around. As for McKenzie she is getting more fun each day and I don't know how it is possible but I think we love her more every day! She really is such a joy to have around-even if she gets a little cranky she is still cute so it evens it out. =) We are now all looking forward to having the rest of the Smith clan come to visit this weekend. Of course we have lots of good pics for you.

We are having lots of fun this summer with our lovely little one! We love having periodic visitors and look forward to all the Smith family in a couple weeks as well as Aunt Kelly! McKenzie is just growing and growing-she weights 16 lbs now and I am not sure how long but she just keeps growing out of more clothes. I keep trying to dress her in the summer clothes to get at least a couple uses out of them before the go in the box but Grams thinks they are a little tight. =) Over the last week or so Grandpa Greg came to visit us and we enjoyed hanging out with him for a few days and look forward to his return in a couple weeks. Plus Kenz and I got to go for a day of shopping with Grams! Plus Kenz got her time with Grams, Gramps and Aunt Teenie this week while Aaron and I went on a quick date.

McKenzie and I also got to go to the park with Brandi and the boys and enjoy the sun. Kenz loves watching the boys in everything they do! No napping for her when they are around. The boys are so much fun to be around and they each have their own wonderful personalities. Next summer is going to be crazy with these four little ones!

Well, what a great fourth of July weekend we all had. Aaron got to have Fri-Sun off so that was great! Friday we spent all day with little Kevin having a great time. We went fishing and didn't catch anything but had a great time-I think Kev liked playing in the water more than fishing. Then he and I made and decorated lots of star cookies for the 4th! Then Saturday we got to see my Papa and Aunt Sandra for a bit then got our lovely family pics taken by Grams. Then we were off the the Slades house for a great fourth of July party! Then Sunday we had a few people over to our house to hang out and play games! And this weekend Kenzie turned 5 months!!! McKenzie has been scooching all over the places-she loves to move and has been laughing/giggling more and more!!

Water Weekend!

Well, we have had another great week! For the week we did our usual work and play but Sunday we got to go to water world with the Krupps, Slades, and Zeornes', We had a lot of fun! Aaron enjoyed pretty much every ride and I enjoyed watching the Krupp boys and Kenzie play in the water. I did do a few rides with Kevin along (so they weren't too rough). =) I couldn't get too many pics of Kenz in the water-I didn't really want to risk the camera. Seeing new things

Well, this past week was full of firsts for our little Kenzie. We all went to the circus with the Krupps, Slades, and Zeornes this past Thursday night. Even though Kenz is so little she actually really watched the majority of her first circus. On Friday she had her four month check up! She took her shots like a trooper and weighed in at 14lbs 1.2oz, she is 25.5"s long! So her weight puts her in the 65th percentile, her height puts her in the 90th percentile and her head is in the 55th percentile. So it looks like we have a VERY long little girl! Then on Friday McKenzie got to eat green beans for her first real food! Then this weekend we did a lot of 'Spring Cleaning' around the house plus hung out one night with Gramps, Grams, and Aunt Teenie. Today (Monday) McKenzie got to go to the zoo for the first time. McKenzie and I went to the zoo this morning with the Krupps (Brandi, Kevin, Thomas, & Lucas) and Grams. We had a great time and I think Kenz may have liked watching the boys just as much as watching the animals. =)

Enjoying the summer

Well, it has been a few weeks since I updated so I have quite a few pictures here for you. McKenzie is four months old now!!! In the recent weeks we have come to learn that Aaron and I are going to be an aunt and uncle!!! My little Teenie is pregnant and due December 11th!! We are very excited to meet the little girl or boy already!!! We thought McKenzie was not going to have a cousin for quite sometime but Justine usually likes to put curves in any plans I think I have. =) As things are now very crazy for her we are here for her and can't wait to share our love with this little baby this winter! As for our little family we have been doing some hiking and fishing the last couple weekends and enjoying as much of the outside as possible. This past weekend Uncle Matt, Kim, and Grandma Michele came to visit us. So over the weekend Grams, McKenzie, and I got in some garage sale shopping which was some-what successful for aunt Teenie and our soon too be little niece or nephew/McKenzie's cousin. Then we spend some time with Grandma Michele, Uncle Matt, and Kim. Plus took a hike to our fishing spot with Matt and Kim-unfortunately we were unsuccessful but the weekend before Aaron did get his first fish of the season. McKenzie has been having a harder time with teething over the last week so hopefully that will get better soon enough. She also 'scootches' around a bit-she can pull herself a little bit with her arms but she is trying so hard to crawl-already!! Uncle Matt said that he had never seen anyone try so hard to do something. She has done quite a few face plants but she keeps trekking along! Now, our visitors are gone for a little while and it is back to work and regular life for us! I will update after Kenzie's 4 month appointment!

A rainy memorial weekend

Well, we had a fun & rainy memorial weekend. Aunt Kelly came to visit us for a quick weekend trip and we took Kenzie for her first fishing trip. The fishing didn't last long, due to the rain but Kelly managed to get a fish in our short time period. We took advantage of the warm pool water at the ranch, which McKenzie really loves. It was an overall great relaxing weekend together with Grams, Gramps, and Aunt Kelly. Here are some pictures from the last week or so.

My baby brother is married!!!

Wow!! A lot has gone on since our last update.Over the last few weeks Kenzie has certainly kept us busy and has been such a joy to be around. I had my first mothers day and it was certainly amazing, I feel so blessed everyday to have such an angel in my life. We also got to visit the Krupp family for a little bit and Kenzie got to realize how she is going ot have to get tough fast. =) I have been busy at work on my two days and so has Grams so Kenzie got to come to work the last couple weeks so that was great and she is such a good baby that it was no problem at all. But, this last weekend we had a great time in Oklahoma. My baby brother, Travis, got married to the new Mrs Alisha Bullard!! So we had a road trip #2 for Kenzie and had a little adventure on the way home......memories, memories is what Aaron just kept saying as we were broken down on the road for a while before my family came behind us to help out. In Oklahoma we got to see a lot of family members that we haven't see for a while, including a lot that McKenzie hadn't even got to meet yet. We hung out with McKenzie's great grandparents, great aunts & uncles, second cousins, aunts and uncles, and grams & gramps. McKenzie also got to go swimming for the first time. The wedding was beautiful and everyone had a great time. Of course I got a lot of pictures so I will try to just put some of them on here. And one more great thing.....Aaron is a graduate!!! Yeah, we are very proud of him-he know has his degree in Math and is moving up in his engineering career at the office!!!

First Road Trip With Kenzie

Well, we have made it back from Utah after a great visit with Aaron's family. McKenzie got to meet lots of new family members over the weekend: great grandparents, second cousins, and great aunts & uncles. While we were visiting McKenzie rolled over for us! She has not repeated it often but likes to move and kick A Lot. McKenzie has hit her 12 week old mark and is weighing about 13 lbs. She continues to 'talk' and smile lots and still gives us what we call her 'Kenzie laugh' but we are still waiting for a full all out giggle.

Wow! What an April snow we had this past weekend!! Our sweet little Kenzie had her first snow storm that would have been over her head if we would have let her out there for long. She got to get her picture out in the snow with Aaron's snowman he built. Now Kenzie's great aunt kak is here visiting for a couple of days before our little family heads to Utah on Thursday night to meet more family!!

Easter Weekend!

Well, we had a wonderful Easter weekend!! Miss McKenzie May celebrated her first Easter with us at 9 weeks old! Saturday we enjoyed time with lots of friends at the Zeornes' house! There we got to spend a little time with everyone and enjoyed the boys dying eggs and finding eggs, next year Kenzie will be able to participate a bit better. Then on Sunday we enjoyed time with family: Dad, Mom, Justine, & Chris with a great lunch that mom made up!

Two Month Check Up!!!

Well, we thought that our little Kenzie May was growing like crazy since we are going through clothes like crazy! Turns out we were right, McKenzie now weighs 11 lbs. 2.5oz and she is 23 &3/4" long! So our 8 week old is almost 2 feet tall!!! She had her Dr visit yesterday and had to get her shots, which she did not like at all! So she had a few crying spells and wasn't the happiest baby yesterday afternoon or last night but she is back to her regular happy self now.

We are still enjoying all of our visitors that are still coming to see our little one, it is great to see everyone interact with her.

It is amazing to us that two months have already passed by since we had our little one! We are so glad that God has blessed us to have such an amazing baby girl!

Well, our little one seems to be growing by the day! Again visitors kept us busy over the last week and a half and there are still more coming! McKenzie is smiling like crazy and is enjoying studying different things. She is realizing different things that her hands and feet can do. She is making more and more noises and is working on laughing but only getting a few little squeeks out so we are just waiting on those giggles to come through. Here are some more pictures:

Well, our little McKenzie is already a month old! She had her one month check up yesterday and is doing great! She is now 22"s long and weighs 9lbs 10.5 oz. She is growing like crazy! The best news of the week is that McKenzie gave us her first real smiles this past Wednesday!! I tried to get some pics but I am not as quick as she is. She is starting to make more noises but not a whole lot, she opens her mouth like she is going to but a lot of the time nothing comes out. We are so blessed, she is a very happy baby and Aaron and I are enjoying every minute with our little Kenzie. We are looking forward to all of our upcoming family visiting to see McKenzie, some for the first time.

Well, these last two weeks have flown by! McKenzie is such a great baby and is growing like crazy! At her check up this week she measured 21 3/4" and weighed 8lbs 5.5oz. Since she had lost weight at the hospital this means she gained 7 oz over the last week! She is eating great and keeping Aaron and I busy changing diapers. She has been doing very good sleeping at night as well, some nights are better than others but no complaints. She has gotten out a bit more this week which has been nice for me. Getting to visit the ranch, grams & gramps' house, and even a quick trip to Walmart! Today she even made a trip to the Krupp's house to hang out with the Krupp & Slade families. Our wonderful miracle has finally arrived!! McKenzie May was born to emergency c-section on Thursday at 5:43pm. She weighed in at 8lbs 2oz and was 21" long with some red hair. She is such a blessing, Aaron and I couldn't ask for a better baby. We got to come home Sunday afternoon from the hospital and it is great to be home. We will keep everyone posted with pictures!

So at our Dr appoinment today our Dr set us up to be induced this Thursday morning. She has warned us that it won't be easy and it will be a very long day so we will be as ready as possible. So late this week we will get pics up for everyone!!!

Well, unfortunately for this weekly updated I do not have the good news of posting little Kenzie's pictures. So we have our next Dr's appointment on Tuesday morning and we should have more information. Since her due date is Monday-the 2nd the Dr says she is ready to come out. So at our appointment we will be setting a day to be induced. We will keep you posted from there but sometime next week she should be born!

Well, I have never done one of these before so thought I should start so once little McKenzie gets here we can keep everyone updated.

So I guess we will start with the holidays that have just passed. Aaron and I had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas this year! We spent Thanksgiving in Hawaii with Aaron's family and we had a blast and enjoyed the nice weather. We got to stay home for Christmas this year and split our time between Aaron's family and my family. We were blessed that all of my family got to be together on Christmas for the first time in a while and Aaron's brothers even made it in from Hawaii!!

Now with the holidays over we are just ready and waiting for the arrival of our little girl, McKenzie May! Her room is ready and waiting and so are Aaron and I as well as EVERYBODY else. We will keep you updated with her arrival. Her due date isn't until February 2nd but we are hoping she will be here even sooner!
